MICRONYL

-Filter elements with Nylon 66 membrane-

MICRONYL filter element is designed and manufactured to satisfy and assure high quality and consistent performances in critical applications. MICRONYL cartridge includes Nylon 66 membrane at controlled porosity to provide high efficiency in bacteria retention.

The membrane is pleated with support and drainage layers in polyester which give high resistance to thermal sterilization and hydraulic pulsation stress. The intrinsically water wettability of Nylon 66 and polyester allows easy wetting with water and integrity testing. Typical applications are downstream softening demineralization systems and in all process where cold sterilization is required. Manufacturing is completed in a controlled environment; each filter is integrity tested before final packing.

Specific features of MICRONYL membrane filter elements

  • Easy wettable and integrity testable in situ
  • Repeatedly steamable in situ and in autoclave at maximum 135°C
  • Thermowelded construction
  • EC-listed materials for Food contact
  • FDA-listed materials per 21 CFR
  • Bio-Safety per USP—Plastics
  • Low filter extractables even with solvents
  • Validation Guide available on request
